How many times have we said “karst is vulnerable to contamination” yet lamented our lack of knowledge on this critical topic or an avenue for linking hydrogeology and public health?  If you would like to participate in a conversation on this topic, please join us for the JANUARY 2016 CONFERENCE:  KARST, GROUNDWATER CONTAMINATION & PUBLIC HEALTH: MOVING BEYOND CASE STUDIES.

The purpose of this meeting is to bring together karst and public health scientists, regulators, and community groups to assess the current state of our knowledge and foster cross-pollination among the groups. We invite your involvement in this process.

The conference will be help in January 2016 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It is being cosponsored by Karst Waters Institute and the Superfund Research Program project PROTECT.  You can learn more at http://karstwaters.org/conferences/kgcph/; additional details are provided in the attached circular.

Thanks for your time. We hope you decide to join us.

Regards,   The Organizing Committee.
