Dear Friends and Colleagues

On behalf of the Indian Institute of Geomorphologists (IGI) I cordially invite you to participate in the 9th International Conference of Geomorphology is going to be held in India during 6-11 November, 2017.

With mountains, plateaus, deserts, plains, wetlands and deltas, India possesses a great geomorphological diversity that only a few countries can rival. A number of Pre-, Mid- and Post-Conference field trips to these areas will also be organized for you to explore their uniqueness.

There will be 40 technical sessions along with a sub-session in the said conference.

There are several sponsorship opportunities in that conference. On behalf of the Organizing Committee I would request all the individuals, organizations, companies and institutions to extend their generous help through sponsoring or enrolling for exhibition to make the conference a grand success.

With kind regards,

Prof. Sunil Kumar De

Convener, 9th International Conference of Geomorphology; Secretary General, International Association of Geomorphologists (IAG/AIG)

KIG Mission

The KIG is a loose-knit, group of USGS and non-USGS scientists and researchers devoted to fostering better communication among scientists working on, or interested in, karst science. The primary mission of the KIG is to encourage and support interdisciplinary collaboration and technology transfer among scientists working in karst areas. Additionally, the KIG encourages collaborative studies between the different mission areas of the USGS as well as other Federal and State agencies, and with researchers from academia and institutes. It accomplishes this mission through a workshop held every 3 years in a location proposed by a participant of the workshop. This is the 7th USGS KIG Workshop.
