This person will primarily provide professional leadership, advise, and technical assistance to the US National Park Service. Announcing: Cave Conservancy Foundation 2019 Student Awards

The Cave Conservancy Foundation will award an Undergraduate Fellowship in Karst Studies for $6000, a M.S. Graduate Fellowship in Karst Studies for $7000, and a Ph.D. Graduate Fellowship in Karst Studies for $20,000.   Any study of caves and karst in any field, including but not limited to archeology, biology, engineering, geography, geology, and social sciences will be considered.  The research can involve any cave and karst areas, including those outside the United States.  Applicants must be full-time students at a U.S. college or university.

Undergraduate Fellowship ($6,000)

Applicants for the undergraduate fellowship must include a letter of intent, a research proposal not to exceed 5000 words, a letter of support from the undergraduate advisor, and undergraduate transcripts.  E-mail applications, with "request receipt" notation and "CCF-UG Fellowship Application" in the subject line to: This email address is being protected from spambots. Karst Waters Institute Award Dinner, Virginia, USA

Hello friends of the Karst Waters Institute,

The Karst Waters Institute is pleased to announce that the Karst Award recipient for 2019 is Wil Orndorff of the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation. Please join us on Saturday, March 30, 2019 for presentation of the award, a presentation by Wil, and a casual dinner at the Rising Silo Brewery in Blacksburg, Virginia, USA. Tickets for the event are $40 apiece ($50 if purchased after March 15), and include full dinner buffet featuring:
