During the 2011 International Conference on Karst Hydrogeology and Ecosystems, which will be held in the period of June 8-10 in Bowling Green, Kentucky USA, business meetings are being arranged for major karst science bodies of several international organizations (IAH, UNESCO/IUGS IGCP Project 598, and UIS KHS Commission).

The business meetings of the UIS Commission on Karst Hydrogeology and Speleogenesis is scheduled during this conference. It will be a good opportunity to discuss the current activity of the KHS Commission, the development of the websites and associated services and projects, and plans for the future. We also have an opportunity to organize a joint meeting with the IAH Karst Commission.

UIS KHS Commission members who plan to attend the conference are kindly asked to indicate their interest in attending the Commission meeting by sending a message to Alexander Klimchouk (klim[at]speleogenesis.info). Any suggestions and ideas for the KHS Commission meeting agenda are welcome.
